Electrical service in Carlyss, LA

Carlyss is unincorporated Calcasieu Parish south of Sulphur. The drive from our Lake Charles shop is twenty to twenty-five minutes via I-10 west and down Highway 27. The northern part of Carlyss has newer suburban housing connected to Sulphur water and sewer. The southern stretch is rural with larger lots, acreage, and a higher share of manufactured homes.

What we work on in Carlyss

Generator installs are the most common Carlyss call. The area lost power for weeks after Hurricane Laura and homeowners have been adding standby systems steadily since. Most are Generac air-cooled units in the 22-26kW range, sized off a real load survey rather than a generic table. A group of men and woman that are talented and focused. All licensed. Their customer service is excellent. They were able to upgrade my electrical system for a house built in the 1970s. We removed outdated fluorescent lighting, and these were replaced with current LED canned lighting, expanded the circuit board and repaired the drywall hole that the old fluorescence left in the ceiling.
