Electrical service in Moss Bluff, LA

Moss Bluff is unincorporated Calcasieu Parish, north of Lake Charles along Highway 171. The drive from our shop runs fifteen to twenty-five minutes depending on which side of the community the address sits on. Rural-suburban character: larger lots, older single-wide and double-wide manufactured homes mixed in with stick-built ranch houses and some newer construction, lots of acreage and outbuildings.

What we work on in Moss Bluff

Subpanels for shops, barns, and detached garages are a steady request. A typical job pulls a feeder from the main service to a 100A or 125A subpanel in the outbuilding, with a separate grounding electrode on the outbuilding per NEC 250 (4-wire feeder, isolated ground and neutral at the subpanel).
