Most Grand Lake and river-corridor addresses do not have natural gas service to the property. Propane LP is the practical fuel, supplied through a buried or above-ground tank sized to support the generator runtime you want during an extended outage.
On SFHA properties yes, per the parish floodplain ordinance. The pad and the generator base get set above the FEMA base flood elevation. We confirm the BFE with the parish floodplain manager and design the pad to meet it.
