They were really helpful and got to me the next day, a storm came through and my electric box outside got messed up really bad, I only had half of my house working. It was a fire hazard, waiting to happen. I had called many places to come out to look at it and they was putting me off, it was so scary. I was so blessed when I called them the owner came out the same day and said that they could come out the next day to fix it. I thank God this company was so worried about my house catching on fire, so he put me in front of other customers because he was really concerned. I highly Recommend this company Hayes Electric to everyone out there for problems, they were very reasonable, it did not cost me a fortune that I did not have. Is a whole-home surge protector worth it?
For most Grand Lake homes, yes. A Type 2 SPD at the panel runs a few hundred dollars installed and stops most everyday transients (utility switching, nearby lightning, motor inrush) before they reach the wall outlets. It is one of the cheapest protections for the electronics in the house.
Why do I need two ground rods?
